I recently made the move to this wonderful area, and I can honestly say I’m in love with it here. It’s been such a refreshing change, and I’m excited about the new chapter. While I take immense pride in my career as a speech therapist, being a mother will always be my top priority. I am blessed to have three incredible children—an 11-year-old daughter, a 7-year-old son, and a 2-year-old daughter—each of whom brings so much joy, laughter, and meaning to my life.
When I'm not working, I cherish the simple moments with my family. I love going for walks with my kids, watching my son excel in his sports, and seeing my daughter light up the stage during her dance recitals. There's something so magical about watching them grow and discovering their passions. But, without a doubt, the most heartwarming part of my day is when my 2-year-old runs up to me for hugs and kisses, her little arms wrapping around me in pure love. It’s a reminder of what truly matters and why family is at the center of everything I do.
I graduated from New York University in 2011 with a Master of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. Following graduation, I spent six years working at a middle school within the Department of Education, where I gained valuable experience. After the birth of my son, I transitioned to part-time work and focused primarily on the Early Intervention program, specializing in children from birth to three years old. More recently, I have been working with preschool-aged children, ages 3 to 5, within the Department of Education
My passion for working with children runs deep, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be in a profession that allows me to engage with kids of all ages every day. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with a diverse range of age groups, and I find each stage of development uniquely rewarding. The opportunity to help children unlock their full communicative potential is something I am truly driven by. There is no greater sense of fulfillment than watching my students grow—seeing them overcome challenges, gain confidence, and develop new skills is what motivates me each and every day. Being part of their journey, no matter how small the progress may seem, is a privilege that I deeply treasure.
